The sexiest car ever. Matte Black GT-R

I recently saw these photos that made me drool. I’ve owned a black sports car and I told myself I’d never do it again because black is impossible to keep pristine. The paint Nissan has is shitty on a good day, orange peel times a thousand.

Then I saw this matte black GT-R and I dropped my jaw. This car is pure sex. At first I was curious… how would someone do this? I found the owner of this fine ride and asked him. He told me that to have his car painted this way, it’d cost him $2300 but if he had his car wrapped, it was only $1700.

So what is wrapping exactly? Well… in short, the wrap your entire car in a predetermined color or design. 3M created the technology, and if/when you get bored of the color… you peel it off and you have your brand new still, just needs to be buffed/waxed. So yes, you could buy a white GT-R (like what I will be buying) and then matte the car for a few years. The film protects against chips etc, you can’t tell it’s a film if it is professionally installed either. Washing it is easy, no waxing needed. Fuck yes.

Now.. to go more into wrapping. Here is some examples of a company in Germany that wrapped this Audi R-8.

It starts with sheets of the wrap or film.

The company that did this Audi wrap is called Foliatec. Their web site explains it better.

Thanks To Vanq for the kick ass photos. The GT-R is owned by Lung in Singapore. He also owns a Ferrari 430 Scuderia. Wow. Just Wow. Lung’s wrap on his GT-R was done by a Singapore company called Genconcept.

Ferarri California

This car is the sex. I am really liking the hardtop to convertible option. No released price on the car yet but it’s said to be Ferarri’s entry model so it’ll be around the $200,000 mark to compete with the Gallardo etc.

Some people have far too much money. If you know anything about Saudi Arabia, it’s that they often have a little more free cash than you or I do. Oil seems to make money, go figure.
