Declare yourself has weird ads

Ok, I’m not hip and cool so maybe I just don’t get it.
I understand the basic premise behind what they’re going after here at declare yourself… you don’t have a voice if you don’t vote etc etc blah blah blah. Yes I understand how important it is to vote.

Well, in the States it’s important… in Canada where I live, voting is like passing gas while watching a rerun of friends. Nobody really gives a shit. The biggest OH NOES moment that happens here we vote on, is whether ol’ Earl gets a new paint job for his combine or if we’re going to fix the potholes on the freeway. This is another topic though… so I’ll get back on point.

Declare Yourself has these ads that are cool and what not, but a little confusing. Only you can silence yourself. Hmm… so I’m to believe these ladies did this shit to themselves? Ok, that’s cool. now I get it.

This is about to close to S & M Jessica Alba as you’re ever gonna see buddy, drink it in. It’s nice isn’t it? Oh yeah… not creepy at all.

Holy shit, after watching that video I want to slit my wrists. They’ve got the 90210 dude on there, wow, I guess that means he’s famous. Yeah, I watch 90210, it’s mind fluff, perfect for when I need to not use brain cells to think. Hayden can’t act, but I watch Heroes so I already knew this. Jessica Alba does a good job as one of those pushing infomercial cuntbags you want to beat the shit out of with their own product, and the gloves? Not sure why she had on gloves… but ok, sure, whatever works.

If I was living in the States and I was ignoring the election, seriously, someone kick me in the face. Please. You gotta vote man, as the kids say… for reals. (did anyone other than try hards ever really say that? hmmm)

As for who you vote for, well, that’s your call completely. I think voting for McCain/Palin is like stabbing yourself with a fork. Sure you can do it, but would it make much sense?

Heroes Season Three

Tonight is Heroes night. Heroes season three, titled “Villains” comes to the fall TV line up. I loved season one but I thought many of the characters they had in season two were, well, weak. What’s the deal with girl that kills everyone when she gets angry, then tears of oil or blackness seep from her eyes? umm… pass.

Hayden Panettiere is back as the cheerleader but now she’s a bad ass. Well, you had us at cheerleader but sure thing, give her attitude and guys will want her more. Ok, not sure I follow, but sure, whatever.

Heroes debuts tonight on NBC. Three hours long no less, it pretty much dominates Monday night. First hour is some catch up type of episode where the stars of the show bring you up to speed on season one and the suckfest that was season two, and I’m sure they will hint at things for season three to try and get people to watch. I’m guessing Hayden will be a big part of the preview show, she’s hot and well, geeks will watch if she is on air. Then after that, it’s a two hour season premiere event. I might just wait and download it from easynews so it has the commercials edited out already.

I like the tv show Heroes. Sure, they rip ideas from Marvel and DC, other comic lines as well but shit, it’s hard being fresh, yo. I like Hayden Panettiere because well, she’s hot. Harry Knowles from Ain’t it Cool news or AICN as it’s known the geek brethren, made a funny statement on his blog awhile back. Something about her being perfect because her character Claire… as you know repairs herself right? So technically, she’s a virgin… always. hahaha. Harry, you fucking rock.

Anyway… here’s Hayden’s new music video… apparently she’s done a lot of signing, If you youtube search for her, she’s done songs for various soundtracks in the past. I will not be buying her music, but that’s just me.
