My geeky tattoo

Well, I have been pondering what to get for ink for some time now. I have always wanted to get inked, but I am one of those people that think now-a-days… tattoos don’t really mean what they used to. It used to be a tattoo stood for something, bikers had them, rebels had them, normal people didn’t. I can’t handle it when I meet someone and I say… wow, that’s a great tattoo.. what does that mean? They reply… I love dolphins.

I want to bitch slap them on the spot generally. Don’t get me wrong, do what’s right for you, always… but come on man, have something to say about your ink. That or make it fucked up cool, ya know? A dolphin on your lower back isn’t awesome unless he’s got a spear in him and a whaling ship chasing him from your upper shoulder blades. It’s no longer a lame ass dolphin tattoo, it’s now your way of saying dolphins are being slaughtered at an alarming rate. Way to fight for Flipper. Go you.

fuck I rant hey? heh. I seriously just like to hear myself speak. Stop nodding your head Paul, jesus. heh

So anywhoo…. I have been pondering what to do for a fucking LONG time. I had earlier wanted this full sleeve that was very much like the ink work that George Clooney had in Dusk before Dark. (examples below)

I don’t know why, i always liked that shit.. then I saw it on Scott Nails and I still thought it looked good… I myself have done porn before (amateur) so i was like, fuck yeah… this is great!

Seriously, any guy that takes the time to give me a thumbs up while sexin’ is ok in my books. hahaha

I was going full steam ahead with a full sleeve like the two I showed you above but then it hit me, wtf am i doing? I’d be JUST like the people I get a chuckle from. I try not to be a hypocrite, but I’m human.. I do think tribal is somewhat overdone and then some.

So.. what the hell am I going to do?

I am going to go hard with something that I love. Comics.

I am going to do a good versus evil theme. My body will be dividend up into two areas… left/right (dur). The left side will consist of a full sleeve on my left arm, partial on left front chest and left side of body wrapping around to left side of full back piece.

The right side of course, will be the exact same size wise to the left side… but a different theme. they will be meet on my back, face to face.

Good versus Evil. The Marvel/DC characters I loved growing up and even in my current “adult” (and I use the quotes loosely, lol) life against their enemies.

Example… Superman, Batman, Iron Man, Hulk, Green Hornet, Flash, Captain America, Nick Fury, Wonder Woman, Thor, Punisher, Spidey, Xmen of course… the bad guys, well shit, this will be easy… The Joker, Bizarro, Venom, Lex Luthor, Two Face, Dr Doom, Magneto, Carnage, not 100% sure… I’m only so big so I might not have much room to go ape shit… lol

When I am done, I guarantee you… I shall be one big fucking geek. heh

I know this is a crazy ass idea, but hell, I loved comics growing up, I still love them today, they’re a great escape from day to day life. I’m a huge ass Smallville fan, even though the storylines have been weak as hell the past season or two… but still.. diff topic.

My only wish…. I wish I could have Alex Ross design this mofo.

I start my left full sleeve, Marvel/DC in September. Yes, I’ll post pictures. Love me, Hate me, it’s all the same . Just register and comment, damn it. heh

Ironman Adventures!

Marvel created a three part animated series to try and encourage reading comic books more. This is part one of the series, a Super Hero cross over with Spiderman, The Hulk and of course, the super hero of the moment… Iron Man.

Watching this makes me drool over the possibility of where they could take the Marvel Avengers in 2-3 years when it hits theatres.
