Declare yourself has weird ads

Ok, I’m not hip and cool so maybe I just don’t get it.
I understand the basic premise behind what they’re going after here at declare yourself… you don’t have a voice if you don’t vote etc etc blah blah blah. Yes I understand how important it is to vote.

Well, in the States it’s important… in Canada where I live, voting is like passing gas while watching a rerun of friends. Nobody really gives a shit. The biggest OH NOES moment that happens here we vote on, is whether ol’ Earl gets a new paint job for his combine or if we’re going to fix the potholes on the freeway. This is another topic though… so I’ll get back on point.

Declare Yourself has these ads that are cool and what not, but a little confusing. Only you can silence yourself. Hmm… so I’m to believe these ladies did this shit to themselves? Ok, that’s cool. now I get it.

 
This is about to close to S & M Jessica Alba as you’re ever gonna see buddy, drink it in. It’s nice isn’t it? Oh yeah… not creepy at all.

Holy shit, after watching that video I want to slit my wrists. They’ve got the 90210 dude on there, wow, I guess that means he’s famous. Yeah, I watch 90210, it’s mind fluff, perfect for when I need to not use brain cells to think. Hayden can’t act, but I watch Heroes so I already knew this. Jessica Alba does a good job as one of those pushing infomercial cuntbags you want to beat the shit out of with their own product, and the gloves? Not sure why she had on gloves… but ok, sure, whatever works.

If I was living in the States and I was ignoring the election, seriously, someone kick me in the face. Please. You gotta vote man, as the kids say… for reals. (did anyone other than try hards ever really say that? hmmm)

As for who you vote for, well, that’s your call completely. I think voting for McCain/Palin is like stabbing yourself with a fork. Sure you can do it, but would it make much sense?
