Detroit Red Wings win again. Sigh

I used to be a fan of the Detroit Red Wings. That changed though over the past few years. I mean… seriously, how much fun is it cheering for a team that rarely loses?

The reason the Wings are so good? One word. Lidstrom.

Sure, they have a lot of other great players, but remove Nik and watch what happens. They have won 4 Stanley cups in 11 years. Yeah, great team but cheering for them is not really cheering, it’s more like betting on the probable. Hurray

I’d have like to see the Pens win, but they’re a young and naive team still. I see amazing things for them though, watch for them to be back in the run for the cup next season. No question.

Well, congrats Detroit fans. It’s not like you accomplished shit mind you, your team was odds on favorites from day one. Wow, surprise.
