The Next Acura NSX er.. Honda NSX Spy Photos

North America is a funny place when it comes to Japanese car companies. They don’t just come here with their one and only name brand, they create new labels because that’s what the North American auto companies do. GM owns… wow.. let’s see… Chevy, Buick, Pontiac, GMC (of course), Saab, Corvette…ummm… shit, memory fart. There are more than this.

Toyota in every part of the world is known as Toyota and that’s it. Well, other than North America that is. Over here, Toyota is spit into two companies. Toyota is the normal branch, Lexus is the higher end branch. Nissan has Nissan and Infiniti in North America and Mazda has… well… just Mazda (so far). I’m off topic..

The Honda NSX or as we’ll know it in North America, the Acura NSX has always been a staple in the sports car industry. A standard for some time but then after their last model… things sort of got stale. They hadn’t released a new updated model in over 10 years, shy of a cosmetic change here or an interior change there. The engine was largely unchanged… until now.

These are renditions of what the next NSX looks like, courtesy of Auto Express. Auto Express usually sucks huge furry balls and is wrong most of the time when it comes to spy images so don’t get excited just yet. The first image, is a spy image taken at Nurburgring, so it’s the real deal… in camouflage.

The new NSX is expected to bow into product for 2011, appearing in 2010 at auto shows.
